Job Description
Croydon House School is a Christian independent private school based in Chartwell, Fourways. We hold strong Christian ethos and values and seek qualified, passionate and enthusiastic Foundation Phase Teachers with the same Christian values who are eager to teach, inspire and make a positive impact on our young learners. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the CAPS curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students development.
- Participate in school events and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements:
- Be registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators).
- Hold a relevant B Ed degree in Foundation Phase Education.
- Have experienced teaching in foundation phase setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
