Balvenie Primary School is seeking 1x dynamic and passionate Intermediate Phase educators to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching and nurturing students in Grades 2, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in curriculum design, adapt at creating an inclusive classroom environment, and committed to inspiring a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.

Classroom Management:

Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.

Foster a sense of responsibility and discipline among students.

Student Development:

Support the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students in the intermediate phase.

Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to address individual student needs.

Professional Development:

Stay abreast of educational trends, best practices, and curriculum developments.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

Have the ability to teach English and Afrikaans.

Relevant teaching Experience.

Strong understanding of the WCED curriculum and administration.

Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Flexibility and adaptability in response to the needs of students.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
