Purpose of the job o Moving goods within the plant, palletize and wrap packed product, stack packed product
Required outputs: Functional
- Select, consolidate and move raw material stock to production plant
- Move raw materials and finished goods within the plant and the final goods warehouse
- Load stock onto vehicles and offload vehicles
- Pull and stack packaging materials, raw materials and finished goods onto pallets
- Assist in stock counts
- Perform daily forklift checks and report any deviations
- Sack and store materials to ensure that housekeeping, demarcated areas and safety standards are maintained
- Ensure timeous movement of all items requested
- Strive towards Zero harm
- Matric/ Grade 12 qualification
- Valid Forklift licence
- Literacy in English, both orally and in writing
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) and Food Safety(HACCP)
- Pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Work under pressure/ flexible
- Be a team player
- Responsible and must have initiative
- Safety awareness
