Job Description

Purpose

:

To operate the forklift safely and moving stock between areas within the facility

Key Duties:

To perform and document the daily inspection of the forklift to ensure that it is in proper working condition. Perform routine checks on all scales using the provided test weight to ensure scale accuracy Movement of stock between departments Loading and offloading of trucks Regularly inspect waste bins and promptly complete the bin replacement request form when a bin is almost full

Minimum Requirments:

Grade 12 (or Grade 10 with relevant experience) Valid forklift license At least 10 years

Active

forklift driving experience. (Essential)

Competencies:

Ability to operate an F1 forklift safely. (This will be tested) Ability to communicate fluently in English Ability to complete documentation accurately and clearly Basic numeracy ability
