Job Purpose
To lead the delivery of high-quality forensic services to clients in both public and private sectors. The Forensic Manager oversees investigations, manages multidisciplinary teams, builds strong client relationships, and supports business growth through strategic insight and operational excellence. The role also includes contributing to firm-wide innovation, talent development, and service delivery that enhances the firm's reputation and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead forensic examinations involving digital evidence, data recovery, and analysis across various platforms and devices.
Oversee investigations including fraud, corruption, probity reviews, and misconduct.
Manage client engagements from scoping through execution and reporting.
Conduct and supervise forensic interviews and other investigative procedures.
Guide junior staff in the proper use of forensic tools, methods, and legal compliance.
Liaise with legal teams, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement when required.
Draft, review, and present professional forensic reports and findings.
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through strong relationship management.
Provide technical leadership and maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in forensic science, regulations, and cybercrime.
Monitor and manage project budgets, billing, WIP, recoveries, and profitability.
Promote operational efficiency through planning, resourcing, and process improvement.
Mentor and coach team members to support professional development and retention.
Qualifications & Experience
BCom in Forensic Accounting / Accounting / Law
Preferred:
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
or equivalent professional designation (e.g., ICFP, CAMS)
Additional certification in
digital forensics tools
(e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite) would be a strong advantage
Experience
3-5 years of experience leading
forensic investigations
in both public and private sectors
Proven record of managing
teams

complex investigative projects
Deep understanding of:
Fraud detection methodologies
Risk management
Probity and governance services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with
