General Foreman (Building)

We are seeking an experienced

General Foreman (Building)

to manage and coordinate on-site building operations. The role requires a

hands-on leader

who can oversee multiple trades while actively supporting site activities to ensure projects are delivered

safely, on programme, to the required quality, and within budget

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise Foremen, Supervisors, trades, subcontractors, and SMMEs. Implement the construction programme into daily and weekly work plans. Coordinate structural, finishing, and fit-out trades to ensure correct sequencing. Enforce Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance. Monitor productivity, progress, and labour outputs and implement corrective actions. Manage labour, materials, plant, and equipment efficiently. Provide

hands-on assistance

, including physical tasks or general site maintenance when required. Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal management.
Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 (NQF 4) and construction-related training or trade. Minimum

5 years' site supervisory experience

on building projects. Experience coordinating multiple trades (structural and finishes). Valid

SA driver's licence

and own transport or ability to travel.

Valid work permit if a foreign national

.
Additional Information

Site-based position. Extended working hours may be required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R17500,00 per month
