Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead and oversee road-related construction projects. The successful candidate will manage on-site operations, coordinate work crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, maintaining quality control, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in road-related construction projects Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise work crews Knowledge of road construction techniques, materials, and equipment Familiarity with South African construction regulations and safety standards Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong communication skills to liaise with project managers, workers, and stakeholders Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites Relevant trade certification or diploma in construction management is an advantage
