Introduction
A leading FMCG retailer based in Rustenburg has an exciting opportunity within their Foods Department for a Foods Department Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to attract and grow the customer base through both customer-facing and supportive functions, ultimately driving market share, turnover, and profitability. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a world-class shopping experience, minimizing risk, and maximizing profitability within the store.
Description

• Ensure sales in line with budgets
• Maximise selling via selling space, displays, layouts, commercial sales plans, demos, etc.
• Ensure customer shopping experience is in line with the agreed service levels
• Manage operational standards and ensure that controls are adhered to for in-store shrinkage, waste and stock accuracy
• Ensure timeous replenishment of stock
• Implement and monitor all departmental activities
• Manage accurate and timeous completion of daily Stores Foods processes
• Conduct weekly risk documentation
• People management - staffing, performance management, training and development, employee relations

Education Profile
Candidate Requirements

• Matric
• Driver's License
• Applicants must reside in Rustenburg or surrounding areas
• 1 - 2 years management within the FMCG retail industry (Trainee Managers would be suitable for the role as well)
• Computer literacy
