Foods Department Manager
Job Description
A corporate retail store has a vacancy for a Foods Department Manager in the South of Johannesburg
The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Ensure delivery of consistent shopping experience.
Input all foods departmental activities against budgets and business plans.
Ensure sales are in line with the agreed budgets.
Maximise selling opportunities for foods instore via selling space.
Manage food sales plan.
Manage operational standards, shrinkage, waste and stock accuracy.
Stock replenishment.
Manage hot foods standards.
Staff managment.
Staff training, development and motivation.
Drive sales and targets.
Matric.
Previous experience within a managment position within the retail/hospitality/FMCG environment.
Ability to train, motivate and manage staff.
Succession planning.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to drive profitibility and targets.
Clear criminal record.
Previous experience with managing budgets.
