Foods Department Manager
Job Description
An established, Corporate Retailer has a vacancy for a Foods Department Manager within various areas in Vaal.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Drive sales and targets.
Ensuring stock ordering/receiving procedures are adhered to.
Compliance.
Recruitment, training and developing staff.
Stock management.
Waste and shrinkage control.
Profit and loss.
Performance Managment.
Health and safety.
Day to day store operations within the store.
Matric.
Previous managerial experience, having managed a large staff complement.
Experience working within a foods environment.
Ability to drive sales and targets.
Understanding of OHSA and Food safety.
Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
Ability to drive customer service excellence.
Strong administration and understanding of profit and loss.
