Qualifications xefx82xb7 Minimum requirement: BSC in Food Science / BTech in Food Technology Key Responsibilities: xefx82xb7 Responsible for selling FHG products (ingredients, casings and equipment) xefx82xb7 Analysing and reporting on sales leads linked to customers xefx82xb7 Researching potential new markets for new business xefx82xb7 Formulate ideas and strategies to improve on problem areas xefx82xb7 Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback from field activity xefx82xb7 Participate in demos, promotions and marketing events and evaluate the success thereof. xefx82xb7 Product application trials on new products xefx82xb7 Development of products and new markets xefx82xb7 Customer training (Technical and Product) xefx82xb7 On site testing and evaluation of products as required by customer xefx82xb7 New product development for butchers and large factories in the interests of generating new markets xefx82xb7 Liaising with customers along with Senior Food Technologists xefx82xb7 Technical advisory services to butchers including consulting on product quality, Production capacities and efficiencies xefx82xb7 Implementation of quality control/assurance systems to increase production output and shelf life of products Requirements: xefx82xb7 Previous work experience in the food industry will be advantageous but not necessary. xefx82xb7 Must be willing to travel extensively within South Africa. xefx82xb7 Valid driver's license. xefx82xb7 Willig to work with non-Kosher, non-Halaal and Pork products. xefx82xb7 Passion and results are all important in this environment. xefx82xb7 Willingness to work extended hours when required. xefx82xb7 Good communication (verbal and written) in English. xefx82xb7 Commitment, dependability, initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
