Food Safety Specialist
Job Description
The main purpose of the position is to validate food safety and quality across the supply chain. This includes investigations of incidents of non confrmance and assisting with compliance updates and audits.

Job Objectives
Validation of food safety and quality data across the Supply Chain.
Investigation of Supply Chain incidents and non-conformances.
Manage, assist and maintain compliance updates on audits and programs.
Co-ordinate internal audits.
Administer and reconcile all recalls and withdrawals.
Assist with the adminsitration and documentation required for continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Assist with additional adhoc queries.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food technology or Food Science
Experience
A minimum of 2 years experience with supply chain operations
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of food safety legislation and standards.
Ability to interpret data to identlify trends, patterns and areas of improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced and time sensative environment.
Proactive, motivated and ability to take initiatives.
Resiliant and works well under pressure.
Strong administrative capabilities.
