A national FMCG and retail company is seeking a Food Department Manager to join our team in Meyerton.
Location: Meyerton (successful candidate must be based in Meyerton)

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the food market to maximize sales in line with budget and targets
Ensure departmental sales meet budget objectives
Maximise sales through effective use of selling space, displays, layouts, commercial plans, and demos
Deliver a consistent customer shopping experience in line with service standards
Manage operational standards, stock accuracy, and controls for shrinkage and waste
Ensure timely replenishment of stock
Implement and monitor all departmental activities

Manage Hot Foods standards
Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily store food processes
Conduct weekly risk documentation
People management: staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relations
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric)
Tertiary qualification advantageous
Bilingual: Afrikaans and English
12 years supervisory experience
Computer literacy
68 months experience in Foods department advantageous
