Job Summary FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR, LUXURY HOTEL, CAPE TOWN REQUIREMENTS: oFront Office and Cashiering experience an advantage o Computer literacy a must, in Microsoft Office oFluent in English - verbal and written oDisplay a high level of awareness oExcellent appearance, mannerism and well groomed oCustomer orientation and professional charm and sophistication oAbility to work shifts and occasional overtime SKILLS; EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS: o Minimum Grade 12/ NQF Level 2 Food & Drink Service / Hotel School Diploma. o Two to Three years experience within F&B in a similar position. o Highly organized, able to prioritize, work to demand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: oSupervision of staff to ensure that the highest standards are maintained oKnowledge and understanding of the principles of finance and the components involved in finance oControl of operating equipment through correct handling, storage and regular stock counts, to minimize loss through waste, theft and breakages oMaintain a high standard of customer relations and ensure that any customer complaints are dealt with immediately and effectively oResponsible for the implementation and maintenance of procedures as directed by F&B Management oEnsure that all items served are correctly billed oAbility to provide skills training oKnowledge of the disciplinary process oEnsure that personal appearance of all staff is of the highest standard REPORTING TO: oF&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager DATE REQUIRED: oImmediate
