Job Summary Our client operates the one of the finest luxury Hotels in West Africa. They are now looking for an experienced F&B professional to join the team and oversee the busy F&B operation. ?With over 200 rooms, multi F&B outlets and extensive meeting facilities which can sit up to 600 guests, candidates must be used to coping with the demands of high volumes in a luxury environment. This role requires the skills of a qualified hospitality professional with a strong background in Food & ?Beverage who can lead operations from the front with ?efficiency and confidence. Key requirements o Must have prior experience in Africa at a senior level o Strong F&B background required - must be used to large volume banqueting and very busy multi F&B outlets. o Must be holding a similar senior position in a reputable 150+ room 4 or 5 star property o Used to working with and managing large multi-cultural teams effectively and sensitively, a great mentor o Very hands on role, great attention to detail required o Solid business acumen and used to dealing with budgets and financial controls o Excellent guest contact skills o Fluency in French is a pre-requisite o Must hold formal Hospitality qualifications and preferably have prior international exposure o Good organizational skills and the ability to think on their feet and get the job done ! o Computer literate o Must be a resilient, inspirational character who leads from the front o Candidates must be commercially minded, highly responsible and accountable, running the F&B operations as if it was their own business. o Great entrepreneurial skills are a big plus o Reports directly to the General Manager Package o Salary up to EURO 3,000 net negotiable o Accommodation on site including meals and laundry o Local medical cover o 2 flights home per year o Single status Please note that due to the current government restrictions, no French nationals' applications will be considered Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
