Salary: N$18,000 - N$25,000 (Negotiable DOE) | Live-In
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for a prestigious luxury property group based in Namibia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate F&B professional with experience in remote or camp-based hospitality settings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations across multiple camps, ensuring exceptional standards in service, presentation, and staff management, while maintaining budgetary controls and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the procurement, storage, and issuing of all consumable and non-consumable F&B goods
Conduct regular stock takes and maintain efficient control systems
Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are upheld in all areas
Supervise and support kitchen and front-of-house teams across camps
Provide on-the-job training and staff development to meet performance standards
Maintain high guest satisfaction through visibility, professionalism, and responsiveness
Ensure prompt and courteous service across all food and beverage service points
Manage F&B budgets, costings, and profit margins through effective monitoring and analysis
Ensure FOH staff are well-presented, courteous, and trained to deliver 5-star service
Oversee cleanliness and operational standards in all bars, restaurants, and service areas
Handle guest complaints and feedback efficiently and with professionalism
Maintain consistent communication with relevant departments and submit required reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar F&B role, ideally in a remote or luxury camp environment
Culinary diploma essential
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong computer literacy
Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
Good knowledge of food preparation standards and presentation, ideally within luxury settings
Experience with stock control systems and back-of-house operations
Strong staff management and motivation skills
Professional, responsible, and sociable with a natural hosting ability
A genuine passion for conservation and bush life
Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure
Valid driver's licence
