Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager for our Hotel in East London The ideal candidate will be able to maintain and improve standards in all food and beverage areas including the restaurant, room service and banqueting facilities.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure readiness of all outlets, cleanliness, mise en place, staff levels, uniforms, food presentation, buffet displays, food and drink service sequence as well as the overall standards of service
  • Staff training and development to ensure compliance and competency
  • Contribute towards positively changing staff behavior, delivery of service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Ensure health and safety and hygiene are stringently enforced
  • Be interactive, intuitive, creative, active and visible in all public areas to ensure that high standard of guest relations and service is maintained
  • Duty Management shifts
  • Menu planning and menu costing
Qualifications required:
Diploma / degree in Hospitality Management

Experience:
At least 3 year's management or supervisory experience is required
