Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring the highest level of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. This role includes managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The F&B Manager plays a key role in driving profitability while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and industry trends.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Plan, forecast, and execute F&B budgets to achieve financial targets and control costs.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate food and beverage staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, considering customer preferences, seasonality, and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory, stock control, and purchasing to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverages, and customer service.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, bars, and kitchen facilities.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Monitor sales, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Develop and implement marketing or promotional activities for F&B services.
