Job Summary Self-catering Villas and Eco-campsites based in the Cederberg is looking for a FOH Assistant. Duties: Meet and greet, check in, check out and assist in the Restaurant & Reception area. Assist with restaurant sales, curio sales, bar sales, day sheets and stock takes, Month end reports and occasional Accommodation Bookings. Answer the telephone at Front Desk. Maintain & restock the front of house Complete daily cash up duties. Assist guests with any query or complaint. Any other duties associated with your position to meet the needs of the business. Requirements: Grade 12 Hospitality or Tourism National Diploma or tertiary training in the relevant area of study At least 2 years of working experience in a relevant position to the job requirements. Guest Service Experience Excellent verbal, written communication skill and memorization skills Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) Strong F & B / waiter / bar tending skills Experience in a 4*/5* Lodges would be a strong recommendation. Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Fluent) Valid First Aid Certification (advantageous) Trustworthy; loyal, and eager to learn Own transportation / vehicle
