Job Description

This opportunity is available for anyone who has Sales Experience in the Foodservice Industry and is willing to travel extensively throughout Africa. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FLUENT PORTUGUESE OR FRENCH (NOT NEGOTIABLE) POSITION IS BASED IN JOHANNESBURG BUT WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVEL TO AFRICA.

Presenting, executing demo's and training customers on the product range of frozen non-dairy, cooking and bakery products across all channels (ISB, HORECA, Industrial, Modern, Traditional trade) across the African continent.

Present the range of frozen non-dairy and bakery products to current and new customers for the export channel. Train current and new to chefs and kitchen staff at current and new customers. Work with customers in their kitchens to enhance product range, drive new products and maintain quality standards of at customer level. Spend quality time with customers in Hotels, Restaurants, Conference Centres' & Delis across Export territories to train them on our products. Train confectioners and teams on various confectionery and bakery products and applications Build strong relationships with customers. Support Foodservice professionals at customer level with product presentations, training and development according to direction to maximize sales and strategic achievement. Conduct product presentations to new and prospective customers. Assist in achieving channel sales budgets. Participate in and implement our sales strategies by assisting our customers to build their businesses, by continuously checking on the quality of their products on merchandising techniques and product innovation. Actively investigate and seek new customer and country opportunities. Assist in trade shows and campaigns. Assist in distributor level launches and training. Actively investigate and develop product innovation on current products, through developing new ways of displaying and using current products -innovation and ways of reducing wastage at customer level of current products. Execute any other reasonable duty instructed by any member of the management team. Full responsibility for the baking of the range for open days and customer demos. Assist the export channel with presentations, trade shows and conferences where necessary. Extensive travel through Sub-Sahara Africa

Qualifications and Experience:



Culinary qualification or diploma. Previous experience in the foodservice industry. Minimum of 3 - 5 years confectionary or bakery experience. Computer literate (Power point, Excel, Word, Outlook). Pay: R40000,00 - R45000,00 per month
