Job Description

The Floral Stylist designs and create stunning floral arrangements with the team that enhance the aesthetic appeal of our weddings and events. The Floral Stylist will collaborate with clients, event planners, and internal teams to bring creative visions to life through floral artistry.

Responsibilities:

Guide and inspire the floral team in creating innovative and visually captivating floral arrangements for events, weddings, and special occasions. Develop creative concepts and design plans for floral arrangements, ensuring they align with client preferences, event themes, and brand aesthetics. Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their floral design needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints, providing expert guidance and recommendations. Source high-quality flowers, foliage, and decorative elements from trusted vendors and suppliers, ensuring freshness, variety, and availability for events. Oversee the styling, setup, and installation of floral arrangements at event venues with the team, ensuring they are executed flawlessly and in line with design plans. Manage and monitor expenses for floral design elements of projects, and explore cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Collaborate with other internal teams, including creatives, project manager and maintenance teams, to ensure cohesive and harmonious event aesthetics. Stay informed about floral design trends, seasonal blooms, colour palettes, and innovative techniques to continuously elevate the company's floral offerings. Foster new ways to have work done in a timely manner, implementing efficient processes and strategies to meet project deadlines effectively. Foster new ways to have LOOKBOOKS created for floral bookings in a more effective manner. Take accountability for your team and ensure to identify potential problems and points of friction within daily operations, finding and implementing solutions. Maintain communication with Logistics Coordinator and clients for seamless operations and event executions. Take social media content (photos, videos, etc.) of completed projects, collaborating with the marketing team to showcase a|CREATE's / a|FLORAL's work and promote brand visibility on social media platforms.

Requirements

Residing in the Somerset West, Stellenbosch & Strand area.

Driver's license (Code 8) and own vehicle.
