A stylish, design-forward hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced
Floor Manager - Food & Beverage
to lead and elevate guest service across its restaurant, bar, and function outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day floor operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experience
Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver consistently high standards
Manage staff schedules, shift allocations, and performance
Maintain vigilant oversight of guest feedback and proactively resolve service issues
Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and events teams to coordinate service flow and optimize guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, and enforce SOPs
Monitor and control inventory, stocks, and ordering to manage costs and reduce waste
Assist with training, development, and recruitment of FOH team
Uphold the hotel's brand image through ambiance, presentation, and service excellence
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in supervisory or management roles within upscale hospitality / food & beverage
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, guest-first mentality
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities
Solid knowledge of service standards, POS systems, and F&B operations
Ability to perform under pressure, especially during busy periods, and to maintain attention to detail
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Hospitality or related qualification will be an advantage
