Health on Point Pharmacy is hiring a Floor Assistant to support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. The role is responsible for ensuring effective floor management, customer service delivery, stock handling, and overall operational support. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining professional store standards, accurate inventory processes, and a high-quality customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales Support
Provide professional customer service and product assistance.
Direct customers to products and escalate queries when required.
Assist with store enquiries and ensure an excellent in-store experience.
Floor & Operational Support
Maintain an organised and presentable store floor.
Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and product display.
Ensure store areas are neat, tidy, and fully stocked.
Stock & Inventory Handling
Assist with receiving stock, unpacking, labelling, and organizing shelves.
Support inventory control and stock movement procedures.
Participate in stock counting, recording, and variance reporting.
Handle expired, damaged, or returned items as per policy.
Cash Handling (Where Applicable)
Assist with cash transactions if assigned.
Follow all company cash handling and till procedures.
Housekeeping & Store Maintenance
Conduct cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities on the shop floor and storage areas.
Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
Administration & Reporting
Assist with basic administrative tasks and daily operational checklists.
Complete and maintain accurate records when allocated tasks.
Support management with operational duties and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Matric or equivalent.
Experience in customer service or retail environment is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of till operations and/or stock handling is beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work weekends, shifts, and operational hours.
