Job Summary Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Valid Drivers License
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Preference will be given to candidates with both Fleet and Workshop experience

Experience Required:
At least five years experience dealing with the following:

• Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying user trends
• Maintain fleet utilization data, driver behavior trends, accidents/incidents trends and develop relevant response actions for safety and cost effectiveness
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspections to ensure optimal asset care
• Develop and implement Fleet Policies and Procedures in order to promote responsible and safe utilization of vehicles
• Ensure the road-worthiness of all vehicles and compliance to licensing and all other requirements by Traffic Department
• Set up systems and procedures for vehicle recovery from accidents
• Deal with service providers such as insurance companies, repair centres, panel beaters, parts suppliers etc. in a way that ensures less downtime for vehicles while maintaining cost effectiveness
• Drive responsible behavior towards the use and care for vehicles
• Drive down costs associated with fleet
• Establish and enforcing quality standards for the repair of motor vehicles
• Manage the workshop by ensuring effective workflow, procurement of parts speedily and at cost effective prices, and establishing a network of quality, reliable suppliers
