A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a young individual to join our dynamic and successful company at our Aeroton Branch, Gauteng.
We're currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join our team who will be responsible in managing our vehicle fleet, and ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety!
Job Summary:
The Fleet Controller will oversee the day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet, including maintenance, repairs, fuel management, and compliance. You'll work closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections
- Monitor fuel consumption, optimize routes, and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Coordinate vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and upgrades
- Analyze fleet performance data to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with drivers and maintenance teams to resolve issues
- Develop and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of fleet management experience
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance, and regulations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in fleet management software
Package & Remuneration
Salary is market-related and negotiable with added benefits (Provident fund) depending on current experience levels.
