We are looking to recruit a Fleet Controller to work within the Group Facilities and Services department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Management Accountant II.
Job description
This position is responsible for the efficient and professional execution of compliance and administrative support tasks. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate and current records, coordinating fleet-related operations, and engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The role is integral to monitoring and controlling expenses, ensuring data integrity, supporting procurement activities, and upholding compliance standards across all relevant functions.
Minimum requirements
Job Objectives
To coordinate the operational management of fleet vehicle (trackers installation/de-installation, licencing etc)
To provide support to driver in terms of authorisation of maintenance, tracker queries and other general queries
Provide monthly reporting
To support the Procurement Manager is sourcing and purchasing of vehicles
Identify and propose potential supplier consolidation
Provide relevant information to payroll department to ensure that employee files are accurate and up to date
Ensure that all supplier information is accurate and loaded on to the database with excellent attention to detail
To support the facilities tracking of diesel reserves
Processing of journals, and purchase orders
Ensure that suppliers are paid on time
Weekly monitoring of traffic fines
To assist with new project as when they arise
Qualifications and Experience
Matric
Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration (would be an advantage)
2 years related experience in similar environment
Excellent computer skills (MS Office) especially Excel
SAP Financial System
Fleet management experience would be an advantage
Customer services experience
Driver license
