Our client, an internationally acclaimed luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Demi Chef de Partie to support their culinary leadership team. This role is ideal for a committed chef ready to deliver excellence in a fine-dining environment.
Description
The Demi CDP will assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, hygiene standards, and seamless service execution.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Prepare and manage mise en place efficiently
  • Ensure dishes are correctly portioned, garnished, and presented
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
  • Communicate ingredient requirements to the Head Chef
  • Support smooth kitchen operations and team collaboration
Minimum Requirements
  • Culinary Certificate or Diploma
  • 2-3 years' experience as a Demi Chef de Partie
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong service mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work professionally across departments
  • Comfortable in a luxury, high-expectation environment
  • Honest, flexible, punctual, and self-disciplined
