Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in North-West is searching for a skilled Fitter to join their mining team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of mechanical components and equipment within the mining operation.
Responsibilities:
- Performing planned and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults and issues
- Repairing and replacing faulty mechanical components
- Performing equipment assembly and disassembly
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports
- Grade 12
- N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- Fitter Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years' experience as a Fitter within the mining industry (Post Trade)
- Experience with Filter Press Operations
- Experience in Maintenance of Slurry Pumps
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO)(If Applicable)
