- Underground charging unit scheduled maintenance
- New equipment assembly
- Fault finding on all UBS equipment
- Standby and call out duties
- Assist the UBS engineering section in maintaining and improving existing underground equipment
- Perform general housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment.
- Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize down-time.
- Do improvements, new installations and modifications to equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- Qualified Artisan with 3-5 years of experience
- Pneumatic, electric and hydraulic experience will be an advantage
- PLC Programming experience will be an advantage
- Have willingness to be trained on instrumentation and electrical equipment
- Must exhibit the following behavioural competencies, analytical thinking, thoroughness, critical information
- seeking, concern for standards and safety awareness
- Must be prepared to travel and go underground as required.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Red Ticket.
