Job Description
Your main responsibility will be to assemble packaging machines closely following engineering plans. Youll be hands-on in setting up, troubleshooting, and testing machines to ensure optimal performance. Taking your skills on the road, youll play a key role in the installation of machines at customer sites, seeing the process through until final approval. Your dedication doesnt stop there! Youll be the go-to artisan for fixing and maintaining machines, offering excellent customer support, and conducting thorough quality inspections.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you need to be a Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner with a minimum of 7 years post-trade test experience in the building, testing, debugging, and installation of packaging machines. We also value your ability to work independently. Your commitment is essential and you should be willing to work overtime and travel as the job demands. Bonus points if you bring knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, along with TIG welding skills in stainless steel. A valid Code B drivers license is a must-have to drive success in this role.
