Job Summary Job Title: Fitter, Assembler & Workshop All-rounder Location: Based in Citrusdal, servicing the Western Cape Province About Us: We are a fast-growing workshop specializing in bespoke cabinetry and high-quality woodworking. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Fitter, Assembler & Workshop All-rounder with proven expertise in cabinetry and woodworking. This role requires exceptional technical ability, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of workshop production. Key Responsibilities: Fitting & Assembly: o Perform accurate fitting and assembly of cabinetry components according to technical plans. o Maintain high-quality standards throughout all production stages. o Conduct routine quality checks to identify and correct defects. Workshop Operations: o Safely operate woodworking machinery and hand tools. o Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment. o Support general workshop and production tasks. Technical Interpretation & Planning: o Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions with fluency. o Assist with project planning, quoting, and managing timelines to ensure on-time project delivery. Quality & Precision: o Apply exceptional attention to detail to ensure flawless workmanship. o Troubleshoot and resolve fitting or assembly issues efficiently. Client & Project Interaction (Where Applicable) o Communicate professionally with clients when required. o Manage projects from start to finish, adhering to deadlines and budgets. Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable) o Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cabinetry, joinery, or a similar woodworking environment. o Technical Skills: ~ Strong ability to interpret technical drawings. ~ Proficient in operating woodworking machinery (panel saws, edge banders, routers, etc.). ~ Skilled in quoting and project timeline management. o Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce precise, high-quality finishes. o Driver's License: Valid and required. o References: Strong, verifiable professional references. o Location: Must already reside in the Western Cape.
