We are committed to delivering exceptional service with expertise, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.Main responsibilities: Fire engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standards Preparation and management specifications, concept designs, schedules, estimates, progress reports, meeting agendas and minutes, procurement Project management Operate in line with the digital ways of working (DWOW) Ability to objectively evaluate both technically and commercially, different options based on project objectives/requirements Cost estimation of mechanical engineering scope of work, including equipment and construction costs Proposals, expressions of interests and tendering Collaborate with local and international teams Contribute towards improvement of existing products, techniques and services Mentoring and training of team members to advance to professional engineerRequirements: MSC.Eng/M.Eng/B.Eng /B.Tech degree in Fire Engineering Registered or eligible to register with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng in Fire Engineering Intimate knowledge of local and international standards and codes of practice Minimum 5 years relevant post graduate fire building services experience, Thorough knowledge of the OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes) Good communication and people management skills Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders at all levels Ability to develop engineering documentation from first principles BIM experience using BIM authoring tools, MS Office (including Excel, Word, Access and Project) would be advantageous Well acquainted with local equipment, manufacturers, suppliers and installation companies Be willing to travel abroad for variable periods depending on the particular needs at that time Team player Shortlisted candidates will be required to pass general medical examinations (in line with occupation act)APPLY NOW!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Bachelors (Required)Experience:Post graduate: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:ECSA Professional (Required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 2025/02/09
