Minimum Requirement

  • Chartered Accountant.
  • Min of 2 years post articles.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Pastel or Xero knowledge.
  • Accounting principles and standards (IFRS).
  • Financial reporting skills.
  • Quantitative and financial modelling skills.
  • Capital structuring.
  • Local and cross-border tax and regulatory knowledge.
  • Transfer pricing knowledge.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis
  • Implement a data-led approach to financial management, optimise and implement systems and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate, on-time, and complete monthly reporting for subsidiaries, including consolidated statements as and when required by EXCO or the Board.
  • Facilitate accurate, timely, and robust reporting to the CFO and board on financial standing and compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of Board Meeting reports and pre-reading regarding the Financial and Resource functions.
  • Establish audit and reconciliation plans.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations.
  • Manage budget and deviations, liaising with relevant managers on budget setup and management.
  • Conduct budget reporting, continuously looking for trends, room for improvement, and optimization.
  • Involved with and reported on procurement spending.
  • Involved with and report on receivables and collection thereof.
  • Involved with and report on pricing policy and structure, per region.
  • Take personal ownership of projects and work quality and contribute to the company ecosystem.
Reporting, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Assist in financial standards setting for compliance and forecast process.
  • Assist with directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with keeping company documents up to date and maintaining a record of such.
  • Compile relevant records as necessary for compliance.
  • Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results, reviewing progress, and making mid-course corrections to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Efficient and effective reporting on strategies, prioritisation, and tasks to Line Manager.
  • Efficient and effective reporting on the performance of products and systems.
