Financial Planning Analyst (6-Month Contract)
Location: South Africa (Hybrid Work Model)
We're on the lookout for a results-driven and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join a dynamic and collaborative team on a 6-month contract. What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be supporting the FP&A Manager with all things planning, forecasting, and reporting. This includes developing financial models, performing variance analysis, and collaborating across departments to ensure well-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust financial planning models
Support the Strategic Business Plan, Annual Financial Plan, and rolling forecasts
Conduct variance analysis and assist with monthly management reporting
Prepare financial analysis and valuations for business cases
Collaborate with , Supply Chain, Tax, and Treasury to align financial inputs
Ensure accurate submissions into Essbase and other planning systems
Contribute to internal and cluster-level review presentations
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
Assist with ad hoc analysis, reports, and finance projects
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, , or similar
3-5 years in financial planning/analysis roles
Strong Excel and financial modeling experience
IFRS knowledge and multi-currency reporting exposure
Familiarity with SAP, Essbase, or Hyperion (advantageous)
Studying towards or completed CIMA (bonus!)
