Senwes Equipment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Financial Manager
to lead and enhance our financial operations. In this role, you will oversee financial planning and analysis, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and drive financial performance improvements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and analyse accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
Evaluate financial performance against budgets and historical data.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Develop and deliver operational reporting based on budget, year-to-date, and market comparisons.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
Collaborate with departments to develop annual budgets aligned with company goals.
Prepare financial forecasts and projections, updating regularly based on market and business changes.
3. Financial Operations, Systems, and Control
Oversee financial transactions to ensure compliance and data integrity.
Assist with the design and implementation of internal controls.
Drive process improvements and support financial systems (ERP, accounting software).
4. Cash Flow Management
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support liquidity.
Analyse cash patterns and working capital to identify opportunities for improvement.
Recommend strategies to optimize payment and collection cycles.
5. Financial Compliance and Auditing
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Support both internal and external audit processes.
Prepare and submit required financial reports and disclosures.
6. Employee Management
Manage and develop team members through performance feedback and task delegation.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and health & safety standards.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as
Professional Accountant (SA)
or
Chartered Accountant (CA)
are advantageous.
Minimum of
3 years
in financial management or accounting.
Strong background in
financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting
.
Experience in
manufacturing, agri-mechanisation, construction, or mining
industries preferred.
Financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
MS Office Suite, especially Excel; SAP or similar ERP systems will receive preference
Project management and internal control frameworks.

+ Knowledge of compliance, audit, and tax frameworks.
