They are seeking an individual with a strong financial background and expertise to oversee and optimize thei financial operations and client services. Strong tax and accounting skills are beneficial.Duties & Responsibilities:As the Senior Accountant / Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our client's financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing and managing the financial aspects of their operations and clients, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and reports to provide valuable insights to clients.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes and optimize financial performance.Identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, taking proactive initiatives to drive positive outcomes.Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Conducting advanced tax planning and structuring for clients, addressing their financial and tax requirements to achieve the most tax-efficient position.Desired Experience & Qualification:To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences:Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (SA) is highly preferred. SAIBA or SAIPA qualifications will also be considered, with experience as the determining factor.Approximately 4+ years of experience in a similar senior accountant role.Advanced technical skillset in tax, estates, accounting, and auditing.It could be beneficial to already be a registred tax practitioner.Proficiency in Xero accounting, QuickBooks Online, Sage Cloud, and Pastel Partner.Experience in handling accounting for foreign currency transactions and reporting.Familiarity with SARB and forex transactions, clearance, and trading procedures.CIPC Administration knowledge.Import/export registrations on e-filing.Expertise in company valuations and projections.Ability in estate planning and Will drafting.Familiarity with financial emigration applications with SARS.Proven ability to implement controls to ensure efficiency within any business.Strong team collaboration skills, with a talent for inspiring and motivating colleagues.Client interaction and consultation experience, including the ability to explain financial reports effectively.Outstanding problem-solving skills, demonstrated by a history of innovative solutions.Initiative-taking ability and a track record of driving positive change within an organization.Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.Package & Remuneration:The remuneration for this role is market-related but it is estimated (by the recruitment group) that the budgeted range for the role could be between R500 000 to R780 000 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.If you are a proactive and driven finance professional with a passion for optimizing financial operations and providing top-notch client service, we encourage you to apply now.DisclaimerThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
