Job Description

• Basic/Brief Job Functions/Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
• Adise on investment /borrowing activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
• Maintain the financial health and sustainability of the organization, by liaising and ensuring the existing and necessary Financing facilities are maintained and/or extended and/or amended with Lenders with investment and banking institutions.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contribution, sales results and the companys actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Develop trends and projections for the companys finances that support growth and profitability.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate reporting of company finances.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives and achieved.

• Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields and/or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and RPL SAQA would be considered.
• Must have a CA qualification with registration at SAICA.
• Minimum of 10 years extensive experience in financial management, auditing, accounting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting within a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Production environment.
• Sound knowledge of the banking environment, loans, and warranties.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS), auditing, financial markets and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software such as Excel and MS Windows programs.
• Experience in risk management and financial instruments.
• Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
