Our client in the Financial industry is currently looking for a Financial Manager (Qualified CA) xe2x80x93 Product Focus , in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Build and maintain financial models and dashboards (Excel).
• Ensure data accuracy in Xero and Credit Ease.
• Provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process and create financial forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with departments for budget input.
• Cash Flow Management
• Manage cash flow and liquidity.
• Forecast cash flow and optimize working capital (receivables, payables, inventory).
• Process Improvement
• Automate and improve manual financial processes.
• Document SOPs and lead efficiency initiatives (e.g., Excel macros).
• Compliance & Internal Controls
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and audit standards.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate external audits.
• Systems Management
• Oversee Xero and Credit Ease financial systems.
• Train staff and ensure proper data integration and usage.
• Financial Planning & Strategy
• Support senior management in strategy formulation.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Identify and address training needs.
• Stakeholder Management
• Maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and regulators.
• Communicate financial results and address queries.
• Risk Management
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and update strategies.

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Accounting (minimum)
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 3 plus years post-articles experience as a Chartered Accountant
• Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP
• Prior Product Finance Management Experience
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and tax compliance
• Experience using Xero and Credit Ease is highly advantageous
• Proficient in financial modelling and advanced Excel
• Expertise in cash flow management
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• This is a technical, non-people management role.
• Focus is on managing financial aspects of product.

• Up to R75 000 per month.
