RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking an experienced FINANCIAL MANAGER for a well-established concern, company based approximately 40km from Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal (Durban bound).
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Qualified CA (SA).
Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
English speaking person (person must be able to speak, read and write English competently).
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills and working experience on Pastel Partner.
Working knowledge of the IFRS system.
7yrs+ previous working experience as a Financial Manager (preferably in the agriculture or manufacturing industries).
Management of the finance team.
Manage financial accounting processes to ensure complete, accurate and timeous monthly reporting.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, cycle profit statements and monthly cashflow forecast.
Preparation of year-end file and co-ordination of completion of annual financial statements by Auditor.
Pastel processing.
Accounting, tax and compliance.
Costing / Cycle reporting.
Contract liaison.
Implementation and maintenance of internal control systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Interviewing candidates for the administration department / Review of employment contracts.
Preparation of lease agreements for cattle farm rentals.
Due diligence for new business opportunities.
Insurance review.
