Job Summary Salary:
R 1 350 972.00 per annum

Experience
The successful incumbent will work within the Financial Management department and must possess at least five (5) yearsxe2x80x99 experience within a gold mining environment.

Formal qualifications

  • BCom degree or equivalent qualification
  • Must possess excellent computer skills
  • Must be competent to work with MS Office
  • A valid driver's licence
Responsibilities
  • Managing the financial health of the company in order to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices
  • Determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business
  • Reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance
  • Collaboration with other departments to achieve monetary goals
  • Advising the company on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting
  • Generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company
  • Oversee the operations and development of the companyxe2x80x99s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the companyxe2x80x99s finances
  • Supervise the documentation of the companyxe2x80x99s financial status and forecasts
  • Mediate between the company, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the companyxe2x80x99s status and financial forecasts
