Bryanston (Johannesburg) or Brackenfell (Cape Town) - South Africa: Our client is a leading provider of integrated logistics, supply chain, and transportation solutions, specialising in road freight & transport, integrated warehousing, managed logistics, and farming operations. They are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Financial Manager to oversee their financial operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance
- Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a similar Operational Finance role
- Proven skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across African countries
- Lead and manage the full Operational Finance function, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor and optimise working capital (cash flow, debtors, creditors)
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register with accurate entries and depreciation
- Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures
- Compile and present financial reports and board packs to senior management
- Support internal and external audits, addressing and resolving findings
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and assist with implementation of new reporting standards
