Job Description
Kroonstad, Free State. Well-established Group within the meat processing / FMCG industry seeks experienced Financial Manager with completed articles (SAICA / SAIPA / SAIBA).
Responsibilities:
- Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation through monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Lead the external audit function and prepare group financial statements for audit
- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations
- Day-to-day cashflow and capital allocation management
- Group asset management including insurance
- Produce long-term business plans
- Develop and manage budgets and financial systems / models
- Carry out business modelling and risk assessment
- BCom Accounting degree
- Five yearsxe2x80x99 prior experience and completed articles with any of the following regulatory bodies: SAICA, SAIPA or SAIBA
- CA(SA) preferred
- Good analytical skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- CaseWare experience will be advantageous
- Must be able to speak, read and write in both English and Afrikaans at an advanced level
- Own transport and a valid code EB (Code 08) driversxe2x80x99 licence
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas
