A freight forwarding company is currently seeking a Financial Manager to join their finance team. As a Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organisation.
As a Financial Manager you will responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the goals of our freight forwarding operations.
- Lead the budgeting process and conduct financial forecasting to support informed decision-making.
- Utilize your comprehensive understanding of freight forwarding operations to optimize financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and manage cash flow in the context of the unique financial challenges
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry-specific standards, collaborating with internal teams to uphold best practices.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights for
- Identify and address financial risks inherent in freight forwarding, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
- Effectively communicate financial performance and strategies to internal and external stakeholders within the freight forwarding sector.
Completed Bcom in Finance
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
Minimum 5 years post articles experience
