Duties:

• Spearhead the creation, review, and implementation of management accounting reports and advanced forecasting tools for strategic decision-making
• Take charge of budget creation, finalize management accounts, conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations, and analyse expenses and cash flow projections to ensure financial precision
• Conduct comprehensive financial evaluations for new ventures through meticulous model preparation, providing vital insights for strategic decision-making
• Direct the CAPEX decision-making processes, ensuring that every choice aligns with the financial soundness and strategic goals of the business
• Ensure the timely preparation of IFRS year-end financials and audit packs, demonstrating efficiency in managing the year-end audit process
• Efficiently manage tax calculations and submissions, covering VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, and Dividend withholding tax
• Provide diligent oversight on BEE compliance, Workplace Skills Plans, Compensation Commission, and StatsSA submissions.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the Finance team towards achieving key objectives
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional development within the Finance domain

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles within a well-recognized audit firm.
• 7 / 10 years post article experience
• Experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment will be preferred

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills
• Have strong understanding of accounting principles
• Pay extra attention to detail
• Have great communication skills
