My client is a South African brand that, over the course of three decades, has established a worldwide presence, operating in numerous other countries. It has gained renown for its iconic chicken dishes.
The successful incumbent will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for creating and managing the financial budgets and forecasts for the retail company, which includes sales projections, expense estimates, and profit targets. Conducting financial analysis to assess the performance of the retail business, including sales trends, cost analysis, and profitability evaluation. Overseeing inventory levels, turnover, and procurement to ensure efficient stock management and minimize holding costs. Preparing and presenting financial reports to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders to provide insights into the company's financial health and performance. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA)
- 2-3 years post article experience
- Retail or FMCG industry experience
- SAP experience
