Job Description
A Pharmaceutical business, based in the East of Johannesburg, would like to employ a qualified Chartered Accountant as Financial Manager.
Position: Financial Manager
Location: Johannesburg East
Salary: R 750 000 to R 800 000 (depending on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report to the Chief Financial Officer
- Assist the CFO with daily finance functions
- Financial management
- Reporting
- Monthly management accounts
- Assist the Finance team with general accounting queries
- Prepare month-end results, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Variance analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Tax, Statutory, and Audit
- Monitor and maintain an efficient cash flow
- Consolidate four entities (not complex)
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable age analyses
- Fixed Asset Management
- Improve processes and procedures
- Team management
- Ensure compliance to procurement processes and policies
- Assist department heads by reviewing and monitoring expenditure
- Address ad hoc queries from businesses and suppliers/customers where required
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
- 2+ years post articles experience
- SAP
- Manufacturing / FMCG or Pharmaceutical
