Job Description
An innovative, sought after Telecommunications business has a Financial Manager position available for a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA).
Position: Financial Manager
Location: Johannesburg North
Salary: R 700 000 to R 780 000 (depending on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Finance
- Assist the Head of Finance with daily finance functions
- Financial management
- Reporting
- Monthly management accounts
- Assist Finance team with general accounting queries
- Prepare month-end results, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Variance analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Tax, Statutory, and Audit
- Monitor and maintain an efficient cash flow
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable age analyses
- Fixed Asset Management
- Improve processes and procedures
- Team management
- Ensure compliance to procurement processes and policies
- Assist department heads by reviewing and monitoring expenditure
- Internal Audit management function
- Address ad hoc queries from businesses and suppliers/customers where required
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
- 2+ years post articles experience
- Sage advantageous
