Originating as a heat exchange manufacturer, it has since expanded into the automotive sector, achieving the status of a tier 1&2 supplier. With a remarkable track record, this reliable employer has tripled its turnover in the last two years. Presently, we are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Costing Clerk who is eager to learn. The selected candidate will report directly to the Financial Director and collaborate closely with the finance team.

Duties:

• Oversee and check the work accuracy of Accountants work.
• Handle consolidations where more than one company is involved management consolation package.
• Tax planning.
• Cash management negotiate payment terms.
• Investigate business opportunities i.e. mergers, take-overs, joint ventures, and going public.
• Year-end planning.
• Devise time rosters.
• Audit planning and audits.
• Analyse and evaluate financial information, make decisions based on this information and plan the implementation of these decisions.
• Year-end working papers for group.
• Strategic management, budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate management accounts check variances.
• Company Secretarial duties.
• Costing duties if applicable.
• Report to the Board.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• BCom Financial Accounting
• SAIPA or SAICA or SAIBA
• 3+ years experience
• Experience in the Manufacturing or similar industry advantageous
