Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our Finance Department, drive reporting excellence, and support strategic financial decision-making, East Rand
Objective:
To oversee the operations of the Finance Department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework to ensure these are met
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Streamline reporting processes and ensure deadlines are met
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Manage finance-related projects and deliverables
Essential:
- Matric + BCom in Finance/Accounting
- 5+ years' experience in financial management
- Strong skills in budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and financial controls
- Team leadership experience
- Audit, compliance, and financial modelling exposure
- CA(SA) or similar qualification
- Experience in insurance or financial services
- ERP/financial systems experience
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Excellent communication
- High attention to detail
- Problem-solver who can work under pressure
- Integrity, resilience, and continuous improvement mindset
