Job Summary
As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for the accurate and smooth running of all aspects of Financial Management including:
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
- Forecasting
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice on how decisions will impact the company, and how future business decisions might be impacted.
- Producing financial reports relating to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Developing business plans based on these reports.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Managing and performing the day to day financial task with a bookkeeper.
- Day to Day Financial Accountability
- Budgeting and expense control
- Accounts payable
- Banking
- Bookkeeping
- Accounts Receivable
- Producing Monthly Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statement
- Tax Compliance, including VAT, PAYE, UIF, Skills Levy, COID and Company Tax
- Monthly Reporting
- Monthly Forecasting
- Liaising with external registration bodies, banks and other external
- Overall responsibility for Payroll and related payments
- Managing and mentoring direct reports to ensure that the meet their objective.
- B.Com Accounting or equivalent. CA will be an added advantage
- Experience working in a senior finance role in a production environment.
